We go through times when we feel as if we are on the mountain top, and other times as though we are in the valley. If we are going through a valley season, the important thing is to keep going.
We are made for a victorious life of overcoming adversity, impacting people and leaving a legacy on the planet. God fashioned us in His image to reign.
However, when the world became upside down, we lost our way and our original design. We muddled through as best we could but without our connection to God, we began to wither and decay. God loved us so much that He sent His precious son, Jesus, to earth to restore us back to himself and give us His endless life.
Now because of Jesus and His finished work at the cross, we can exchange our identity as ‘separated’ to Jesus’ identity as the ‘beloved child of God.’ No matter what we face now, we can overcome every obstacle and challenge through the gift of righteousness and the abundant supply of grace. The more we receive grace, the more we will be fueled for our destiny and purpose.
Romans 5:17 – For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
At times we can feel as though the world is crashing in from every side. We can feel trapped as if there is no way out. However, when we can stop listening to our emotions, we will find there is always a means of escape.
God created us to flourish. He made us in HIs image for relationship and mission. He plucked us from eternity and placed us on the planet to grow, develop, flourish and thrive.
Even when we became disconnected from God and lost our way, God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to earth to save us not condemn us. God’s love became flesh and moved into the neighborhood for us. Now we can receive Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross and be reconnected, redeemed and restored to our original purpose.
The more we commune with our Lord in prayer, the more we will step into what we are made for. When our obstacles and challenges seem too much to bear, we can pray for help and our Father God will deliver and empower us, so we are able to soar over the storms of life and find ourselves in our purpose and destiny.
Hebrews 12:2 – “Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
We can face certain circumstances or events in life, and then find it difficult to move forward. Sometimes we are even afraid to have hope in case we are disappointed. However, hope is not something to fear but to draw strength from as we take our next step.
We are made for movement. We were created to walk with God in the cool of the day. We bear the image of the infinite God of the universe so we can have a relationship with Him and reign in life.
God made us in His image, placed us on the planet and built us for mission. Even when things went sideways, God sent the rescue plan in the form of His precious only son. Jesus came to earth to rescue, redeem, restore and reconnect us back to the Father.
As we receive Jesus, we receive hope that does not disappoint. In Him we have endless life, abundant grace and the gift of righteousness. Now we can get up one more time knowing that we are not alone. God is with us, for us and on our side and He is able to do through us abundantly more than we can hope, think or ask.
We can get into a rut in life and just try to survive, but the truth is we were made for adventure, impact and legacy.
We are God’s image bearers, we are the crown of creation destined to reign. We are built for our unique purpose and call in life.
Even when we wanted nothing to do with God and nothing to do with our destiny, God sent His perfect love in the flesh to rescue, redeem, restore and reconnect us back to Himself.
Through Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, we can receive the gift of righteousness and the abundant supply of grace.
Now fueled each day by our times in prayer with the Altogether Lovely One, we can find the abundant endless life that Jesus provides, step into our purpose and shine like the stars forever.
Daniel 12:3 – Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever
In life we can feel that we are always missing something. We can be on the search to try to fill our void. However, Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us.
We were made in the image of God, created for union with Him, healthy relationships with others and a destiny to steward.
When the world became upside down, we lost our connection and we lost our way. God’s relentless love could never leave us disconnected. Jesus left Heaven for earth to save not condemn us. He embraced us, healed us, and set us free. He gave His life at the cross so we could be reconnected to the Father and restored to all we were made for.
As we receive Jesus into our heart, the wealth of the Kingdom is in us. As we grow in our relationship with God, we will find the true riches in life: acceptance, love, joy, peace, and well-being. When we are continually filled by the love we are made for, we will find over time that we become everything we are destined to be and step into all that we were fashioned for.
Luke 17:21 – “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
We can go through seasons of life when it is smooth sailing but then we see the winds pick up. Before we know it we can be caught in a storm that we had no idea was brewing. Seasoned sailors know that if they can’t get to dry ground, they should turn and face the storm, to give them a better chance of not capsizing.
We were made to flourish. God created us to bear His image and to thrive. He plucked us from eternity and placed us on the planet for mission.
Even when we wanted nothing to do with our creator, God loved us. He sent His love to earth to save us not condemn us. As we receive Jesus and His finished work on the cross, we become children of God upon whom the Father lavishes His love.
As we face the storms of life we can boldly come to the throne room of grace in time of need. Our Father God is our shield and great reward. The world may throw fiery darts at us but our shield will protect us from every one. No matter the trial, we can know that God will work it all out for good, and by His grace we will be victorious on the other side.
One day he and his disciples got in a boat. “Let’s cross the lake,” he said. And off they went. It was smooth sailing, and he fell asleep. A terrific storm came up suddenly on the lake. Water poured in, and they were about to capsize. They woke Jesus: “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”
Getting to his feet, he told the wind, “Silence!” and the waves, “Quiet down!” They did it. The lake became smooth as glass.
Every good gardener wants their plants to grow and thrive. They place the seeds into good soil and ensure that the plants get plenty of sunshine and water. The good gardener does everything for the plants to flourish and expects them to bear good fruit.
God created us to flourish. He made us to bear His image for family, relationship and purpose. Each one of us He created unique for our specific destiny and call. God plucked us from eternity and placed us on the planet to steward His plans.
The world became upside down and we lost our way. The Good Gardener looked from Heaven to earth and saw us disconnected and He sent love incarnate to Earth to rescue, redeem, restore and reconnect us back to Himself.
Jesus came to earth and embraced us, healed us, and set us free. He gave His life for you and me so we could become children of God upon whom the Father lavishes His love. As we receive Jesus we are restored to our relationship with our Heavenly Father and His purpose for our life.
Now we are each placed in God’s beautiful garden. As we allow the Good Gardener to plant us in good soil, the community of believers, we will germinate and begin to grow. As He waters us with His Spirit, and shines His love on us we can grow, develop, flourish and thrive. The Good Gardener desires that we grow healthy and strong, able to withstand the storms of life, and that we bear the fruits of the Spirit.
Genesis 1:28 (MSG) – He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”
We can search for love in all the wrong places. When we fill ourselves with temporal things we will find we are still empty, because there is a void deep down in our heart that is only satisfied by infinite love.
God is love. He created us in His image for family, relationship and purpose. He shaped us uniquely with our own individual DNA and intricately designed fingerprints because we are that special to Him. He cares for each and every one of us more than we can comprehend.
When we disconnected from God, we lost our vision and we lost our way. God’s love left Heaven for Earth to rescue us. Jesus embraced us, healed us and set us free. He gave His life for you and me at the cross and now we can be God’s very own children upon whom he lavishes His love.
Now we can daily come to the throne room of grace in prayer and receive the love of God poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. The more we allow God’s love to fill us, the more we will experience peace that transcends understanding, fullness of joy and a confident expectation of good. Our Father God’s love causes us to become people of love; because loved people love.
1 John 4;8 (MSG) – The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.
We can face storms that leave us shaken and we can find it hard to move forward in life. There will always be another storm but there will also always be another beautiful sunny day.
We were made to overcome adversity in life. We bear the image of the infinite God of the universe and are intrinsically valuable. We are fashioned for a purpose and a destiny.
We became disconnected to our creator and we lost our way. God loved us too much to leave us all on our own, so He sent His precious son to earth to rescue, redeem, reconnect and restore us back to Himself.
Now as we receive Jesus we can daily come to the throne room of grace in time of need. As storms come we can run to our strong refuge for shelter, protection and safety. Our Lord will see us through every obstacle and challenge in life and grace us for each day we face. As we get our eyes off our problems and onto our loving Savior, we will find that we soar over every storm.
Somewhere along the path of life we may have forgotten why we are here. We can think it is to have a nice life and to make it through, but the truth is we are here to make the planet a better place.
God created us on purpose for a purpose. He made us to bear His image. He fashioned us with our strengths, giftings, talents and abilities. He designed our unique DNA and intricate fingerprints. We are marked for destiny.
We were placed on the planet to flourish and thrive. However, when we lost our connection to our creator we began to wither and decay. The world became upside down and we became disconnected. We couldn’t see the God who made us.
The God of Heaven and Earth sent His only begotten son to earth to rescue, redeem, restore and reconnect us back to Himself. As we receive Jesus and His finished work, we receive son and daughtership.
As children of God we carry authority on the planet. As we step into our calling we bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Planet Earth as we serve, love and help others. As we receive the abundant supply of grace and the gift of righteousness we reign in life.
Matthew 6:10 – “Bring about Your kingdom. Manifest Your will here on earth, as it is manifest in heaven.”
