Worth More Than

photo (26)We can find it hard to believe that we are made for something significant. At times we may feel like we are a dime a dozen, but the truth is, we are each a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

The infinite God of the Universe made us to bear His image which makes us intrinsically valuable. He plucked us from eternity and placed us in our time to steward His purpose.

God not only made us but He loved us so much that He sent His precious son Jesus to earth for us. Jesus gave His life for ours at the cross so we could be connected to the Father and have His endless life.

As we cultivate our relationship with our Lord Jesus in prayer, we can learn the unforced rhythms of grace. As we rest in Him and His finished work, we become confident secure people who discover the purpose for which we were made and step into all that God has prepared for us since the beginning.

Be the One-of-a-kind Masterpiece You Are

cropped-dsc6949.jpgIt is easy to look around and compare ourselves with others. When we compare we either come out a winner or a loser. However, no one else’s life is exactly like ours and if it is, then we are not stepping into what we were made for; we are simply a carbon copy.

We were each made unique by the infinite God of the universe. Each of us is made in God’s image with our own DNA and intricately designed fingerprints. We are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

God fashioned us with our strengths, talents, giftings and abilities for our mission. As we grow to know our Father God in prayer and sense His radical love for us, we will be led into the things that we are passionate about.

The more we focus on Jesus and His finished work at the cross, the more we will surrender control and find rest for our souls. As we allow that peace that transcends understanding to reign in our hearts, we become the people God made us to be; and we have the confidence to be ourselves and step into our unique calling.

Persevere

821a8768At times we want to give up on our dreams, our passions and on the things that make a difference in the world around us. The truth is we are here for a purpose and others are actually counting on us to not give up.

We bear the image of the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent King of the Universe. We are intrinsically valuable and made for a purpose. God marked us with our own DNA and intricately designed fingerprints because only we can do what we are here to do.

God not only made us on purpose for a purpose, He radically loves us. God’s love sent His precious son to leave Heaven and come to earth for us. Jesus became flesh and lived among us. He embraced us, healed us, and set us free. He gave His life for you and me so we could be children of God upon whom the Father lavishes His love.

As we pursue all that’s in our heart to do, we can boldly come to the throne room of grace in time of need. When we are tired, we can be fueled in our prayer times with our Lord Jesus. If we feel like giving up we can wait upon the Lord and gain strength. As we lean on and rely upon Jesus we will see Him do the supernaturally abundantly above all we can ask, think or imagine in us and through us.

Forever Accepted

Sligachan river, ScotlandIn life we can try very hard to be included. We can go to extremes to feel appreciated, to be in the “in” crowd and to gain that proverbial pat on the back. If we are not careful we can lose our souls in the process.

We are made to bear the image of the infinite God of the Universe. Our mere existence proves that we are intrinsically valuable and a part of God’s master plan. We are not some accident, we are here on the planet for a purpose.

When we lost our connection to God we lost our way. We have been trying to fight to be on the inside ever since. However Jesus came from Heaven to earth so we could be included forever. As we receive Jesus and His finished work on the cross, we are connected to our Father God and are forever an insider.

Now in prayer and meditation on the Word of God, we can know more and more that we are loved, embraced, and approved through Christ Jesus our Lord. We may never fully understand the love of God but we can experience it. As we explore the heights, widths, depths and lengths of the love of our Father God we will begin to see that we are fully accepted and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can hope, think or imagine through the power that works in us.

LOVED

blooming cameliaWe can go through life feeling all alone and in need. We feel as if we have been given the short end of the stick, and wonder why everyone else seems to be better off than we are.

The truth is there is a God in Heaven who owns everything, whose desire is to love and cherish us, lead us to others who will embrace us; and whose desire is to supply all of our need according to His riches and glory!

God created us perfectly unique. He shaped and fashioned each of us with our own individual strengths, gifts and talents, He then places us on the planet for mission and weaves our destiny with others in a beautiful tapestry of His purpose and plans.

When we lost our way God did not leave us lost and alone. He sent His precious son Jesus to earth to rescue, redeem, restore and reconnect us to the Father. As we receive Jesus into our hearts, we become children of God upon whom the Father lavishes His love.

The Father’s love is radical, relentless, unfailing and overwhelming; and His grace is unmerited, undeserved and unearned. As we experience God’s great love for us and His amazing grace, we will begin to know that we are accepted, approved and adored. As we become people who know that we are loved, we will effortlessly love others in return because loved people love.
